If it was PBF in there that night, could he have kept Margito off him like Manny did?

Personally, this is more likely. Floyd wins, but will get hurt badly in the process.

Note that Margarito prior to the Pacquiao fight averaged 100 punches per round as per Compubox. He may be slow, but a relentless one that throws bombs after bombs.

      Your thoughts.
I remember people asking the same thing about Gatti...then Hatton....then Oscar.

Tony squares-up PERFECTLY for Floyd's jab to the solar plexus.

He'd get folded over like a card table.

Mayweather is just too good on the inside and is deceptively strong.

Tony would soon find out he doesn't want to be on Mayweather...just like all the rest.

Opponents fail to take into account how strong he is....once the bell rings their gameplans go right down the ****ter.

Floyd wouldn't have a mark on his face after a fight w/Margarito...unlike Pacman.

Mayweather is better on the inside than Margarito.

If anybody would be pissing blood it would be Tony.

Floyd will get in his chest and break Margarito down to the body. He'll be able to load up on his shots more than Pacquiao did because of how well he can defend himself on the inside. That's why I could see the stoppage.

Better fighters than Tony couldn't do it.

Believe it or not....He's too strong for Tony.

If Marge could hurt Floyd badly he would have done the same to Mosley.....lol..............

Tony would run into that jab to the belly all night.

Lol. funny reply. Care to explain why a white towel will be coming from Marg's corner and not Floyd's?
Marg's corner would be so disappointed watching Margo miss more shots than hit Floyd, they would just throw their hands in the air and a white towel in the ring in frustration.

Did you see Manny's face post fight? Floyd would never allow himself to get tagged that much in a fight.

Before Margarito fought Cotto & got brutalized by Mosley,he had a very good chance. But the version of Margarito that fought Pacman, probably had close to none.

Look at Manny's face after the Margo fight... the Clottey fight.. and the Cotto fight. Tell me.. has Floyd ever been that busted up? That should answer your question as to if he could keep Margo off him.

You mean the Tony that couldn't even beat an out of shape Daniel Santos????

                      C'mon now..

Marge never had a very good chance..if so...Arum would have cancelled Tony's ppv extravaganza with LIGHTWEIGHT Manuel "shot to hell" Gomez"..

                      But Bob said

"I can't get out of the Gomez fight,I have too much invested"

                      LOL

If Arum had a fighter that could beat Floyd he'd move heaven and earthe make it happen. He KNOWS he doesn't.
