News that Carl Froch has split with promoter Mick Hennessy has piqued the interest of a number of promotional firms. Froch will go it alone for his next two fights, Glen Johnson and possibly Andre Ward, but has admitted that he will need a promotional ally if he wins the Super Six and returns to the UK for the first time since his October 2009 point's win over Andre Dirrell at Nottingham's Trent FM Arena.

isn't frank warren the biggest promoter in the UK?

I think with froch's exposure from the super6, it won't be too hard to get him on skysports regularly, however froch is gonna have to have his lawyers comb through the the document so froch can sue warren for stealing money when he retires.

It’s all about the value of the package Matchroom can put together which entirely rests on having a lucrative deal with Sky. By that, I mean Lucrative for Carl.

He’s by far my fav active fighter and however much I would love to watch him on Tv other than PPV, after the bitter disappointment that was Hennessy, his entire focus now should be signing with someone with the experience and backing to properly promote his big fights to the UK market and ensure the biggest buck for his ****.

We know GBP aren’t good at UK fights so however much I hate to admit it, the strongest contender is looking like Fish Eyes (Warren). Having said that, I couldn’t agree more with Pullcounters post.
