Not a bad fight at this point in their careers but I rather watch Marquez/Morales. There is some unfinished business there

Barrera told De La Hoya that he was very interested. The tentative date would be July 30 on pay-per-view. Barrera has a 2-1 edge in the trilogy with Morales.

with the corrupt WBC, can't morales and mab just get sulaiman to make this fight a title fight thus letting the winner be mexico's 1st 4 division champ? then both these mofos can retire

barrera is my favourite fighter of ALL time, and it pains me for what im about to write, but i would be very dissapointed if he fights morales for a 4th time, this will tarnish there trilogy in my opinion.

if im honest, i want barrera to retire, he is not the same fighter he once was and is shot, and has no buisiness anymore in the ring and i honestly think, if he were to fight morales now who is also way past his prime, i reckon he would actually lose this fight.

barrera should not be a stepping stone for any fighter now, he has made his legacy, will go into the hall of fame and he has nothing left to prove.

if barrera was serious about winning a fourth world title, he would train to get down to 135lbs, in all his recents fights, he has weighed near the 140lb weight class. barrera is no longer a 12 round fighter and lacks stamina, plus he does not carry the 135lbs well either. if barrera was serious he would also re-hire rudy perez again as a trainer as he would get the best out of barrera.
