    No defence.

Clottey threw 10 punches and Manny still looked like he fell down a flight of stairs.

Two months was not enough for this mega event and it got to the point where Manny was running out of time, he needed to get a fight, concentrate on that fight and then run for congress. He figured that "Let the bout marinate, I can win my next fight, Floyd Jr can win his next fight and then we can have a mega event in November." I am sure Arum was thinking the same thing...Look at it this way! It took 3 fights for Manny to get 3 million PPV buys. It would take only one with Mayweather. That's only one promotion instead of three promotions, etc. So, if Manny makes 3 times the money and Arum makes 3 times the money. Plus, if it's close or controversial, they can fight again. Another 3 times the amount of money to be made for all involved. That is what Arum and Manny had in mind, I am sure of it...

What they didn't expect was one big right hand from Mosley to scare Floyd Jr enough to not want to fight. He realized he got close to going down and knew if that were Manny, Manny would have landed repeatedly and put him down. Floyd Jr knew he got close to losing his zero and went on a self imposed sabbatical from the sport. It's as simple as that...

And regarding Mayweather waiting for Pacquiao to get old, Floyd Jr is not getting any younger either. Watch his fight with Gatti and then watch his fights with Marquez and Mosley. He threw more punches against Gatti in 6 rounds than he did in the entire fight against Marquez and Mosley. Manny hasn't lost a step and his punch output has remained the same or possibly increased recently. Every day that goes by, both fighters get older...
Thats a horribe excuse since Manny ended up fighting on that same day against Clottey you fail to remember that.

there's an indication that chicken floyd will fight again...but not against manny pacquiao... the coward is bent on fighting anyone but manny pacquiao...the coward is so scared by a fighter named manny pacquiao...

and boxing fans knew the coward never runs out of excuses...

his legions of moronic fans should convince chicken floyd to fight pacquiao and stop making the drug testing as an excuse...

the more his fans and chicken floyd talks about drug-testing made them more ridiculous...

Waiting for Manny to get old isn't making Floyd any younger either. Also adding that Manny has been a hell of a lot more active than Floyd, there's things to consider besides one guy being a fast combination puncher and the other a defensive wizard.

let me put it to you guys this way:

which suffers from more wear and tear. The wheels on the car, or the spare tire?
