Marquez (the #2 P4P at the time, same dude that drug Manny through hell for 24 rounds) was a threat until Floyd smashed him and so was Shane (the same Shane Manny said hell no to fighting). The list goes on dude. Floyd has a stellar record. They were all threats he just handled them.

I didn't fail to remember that! But the Clottey fight was made in one day. He needed to get a fight in or skip fighting for a whole year. The Mayweather fiasco was taking too long. Mayweather 'seemed' to be stalling in Manny's mind, he just said forget it, let the big event marinate and I will fight this guy then run for Congress then fight Floyd Jr in November. I am not stating it as fact, I said 'I think'. It's a plausible, possible scenario... Learn to read....
