    Mr Miller,
I'd like to know how to build muscle in the arms without losing speed? Old fashioned pushups, etc. or can I use weights? If so, what exercises with the weights do I use (I don't wanna pull a Mosley and become an animal but lose speed). Much love....

This is Bills answer to BarryBoys question of who was the best fighter he knew of that did not make it in the big time.

Lester Felton, a fighter from Detroit that Bill had the oppertunity to work with. "It was in the 50's, boy he was smooth." Bill rolls his hands in mimicing the blows delivered. "That boy could fight.... Ya know I went with him and worked his corner when he fought kid Gavillan here in Detroit, Lester put a whoopin' on him." Bills great smile crosses his face as he leans over to nudge me, "That boy had a great jab, movement.... very much like Robinson. But he could just never seem to win the big one. "After Gavillan I went with him a while later after they brought Ike Williams in to fight 'em. Lester ran..........." Williams would drop Felton in the 2nd round and from that point on, "Lester didnt want no part of him" Feltons record in the books shows that he faced many quality fighters, but never won the big one. When asked why Felton could never win the big one Bill raised his arms and smiled, "He should have, he was a talented fighter."

Yeah Bills a great guy with so many boxing stories and experiences. I'm still trying to get him to agree to letting me get a book together of his travels through the game. Maybe one day he will just say, "Ya know what, that sounds like a good idea."

Probably because he is James and thinks that he can. He could, he would and he did but I have no explanation for it. Speaking of autographs, I think back to all of the guys that I trained with or met, and man I never got any autographs or anything. I figured that I would see them all of the time. The one that I wish I would have gotten was Eusebio Pedroza. He came down to Galaxy and trained for a week when he was fighting in town. That guy is legendary in many parts. I still see some of the guys still but have yet to start a scrap book. Maybe its time to get started.
