    Ask Bill Miller

Right now I am on the computer at the gym. A little while ago I had asked Bill about boxers and lifting weights. I then continued and asked him if he would answer questions about himself or the boxing world in general, should any of you care to ask him his opinion.

Bill is ofcourse the former trainer of James Toney as well as former world champion Lindell Holmes. There are many more fighters that he has worked with in his time.

Bill has been around the game many many years, his stories are priceless and his memory is sharp.

If you have anything that you would like to ask him or even just give him a dat a boy, feel free. I will however ask you guys to use respect when writing in this thread. Bill is a legend to me and his thoughts on the game are excellent. Please be respectfull and feel free to ask him a thing or two.

    Yo, wassup Bill Miller.

Anyway, I had a question about boxers building their shoulder muscles. You know the t****zius muscles or whatever. I am a lower weight guy. I usually weigh 130lbs. or less.

Thanks for this, usually when you ask a trainer who was the best fighter he's trained they surprise you by naming someone who isn't a big name or was a great gym fighter, a bit of a boring question I know but i'd be interested to hear what he has to say on that & feel free to put up any stories on the old timers etc, that's good stuff.

      Cheers

          Hey Mr. Miller,

I am moving to Detroit next year in July or so, Rockin told me a lot of good stuff about you! I am looking forward to train in Detroit and possibly meet you one day!

I just wanted to say good luck with everything. Not a question, sorry but that's all I wanted to say.

I can't wait to start fighting out of the Motorcity.

Mr. Miller, much appreciation to a great trainer, many thanks for taking time to answer our questions...here is mine, james toney is my favorite fighter, i love his roll and counter style, do you know any training exercises i could do to that help to slip away from punches?
