I like how you call Floyd names and act like he irrelevant in the equation. Here's a novel idea....tell Arum to promote a Pac fight without using Floyd's name. Pac's whole claim to fame is "This is the guy that can beat Floyd." Dig up some old threads and see how this board was littered with Gatti fans or Hatton fans when Floyd was standing across from them. You guys are more fans of "fighter X who I think can beat Floyd" rather than fans of the sport or even boxers. When Pac was fighting his round robin with Marquez and Morales, none of you guys existed. Now that he's on Floyd's radar, you guys are the biggest fans in the world. You all are using TWO punches that Shane landed against Floyd as motivation to convince yourselves this isn't a sham of a fight. This isn't good for the sport at all.Comment

Yep...you've drank the kool-aid. Shane can't pull the trigger anymore. And you know it. But hey I guess you're cool with fights being promoted as "hey maybe Manny can be the first to knock Shane out." You don't see the insult to your intelligence in that mode of thinking? When Floyd was active, you all clamored for him to fight every raging bull under the sun (even when you knew in your heart of hearts they weren't ready for Floyd). Now you're satisfied with watching Manny try to put an old guy with a "name" out to pasture? This is a sham and as a boxing fan, I'm somewhat appalled that this is what the sport is left with. There's plenty of blame to go around and I'm fine with being patient to let the superfight materialize. But this is terrible.Comment

Why is everybody is still talking about Mayweather? as far as i am concerned nothing good comes out of him. He's protecting that "0" like a chicken protecting it's egg.Comment

KW - here is an idea, how about you accept the fact that almost every top fighter from 140 to 160 wants in on the Pac sweepstakes except for Floyd.Comment

I don't think anyone on this board should be comfortable calling anyone fighting at a championship level for over a decade a coward. There's a lot of things you'd do for $100k that most people with money won't. We don't know the language of the contracts for real. We don't know all the details to the negotiations. On the surface it seems like a blood test is the only thing stopping the fight, but using a little common sense you'd know that certain eople, lawyers, advisors, etc won't let a potential business venture that can net close to $300 million dollars be signed in 30 mins. Just be realistic.Comment
