    ortiz is the future of the sport, and i was saying that before saturday, that fight with maidana was the best thing that could have happened

    credit to golden boy, they get a lot of **** on these forums but they match thier youngsters tough and its good viewing, its what boxing needs

        Cong**** to Golden Boy !!! They have putting together some great cards/fights within the past couple of weeks. Much respect to Ortiz and Berto for giving us such a thrilling fight. Just what boxing needed. The HBO commentators were right there were no loser's that night. Both men showed they are warriors and both made the sport of boxing shine that night. That's what happens when you put together exciting fights with other promotional companies instead of this lame in house BS. Boxing

                  IMO the experience of the Maidana fight has made Ortiz better,if I have one thing I did not like about what I seen from Ortiz it was lack of a jab..Berto does not use his jab either so it was not a factor,but if he fights a pure boxer who uses that jab he will be in trouble..But yes he erased that Maidana fight,I hope he challenges himself more then Berto did..
