canelo is still unproven imo, but isn't really a hypejob cause he doesn't win his fights by SD or anything. every guy they put in front of him, he blows them out of the water. why doesn't he knock them out is a mystery. i remember larry merchant said during saul's fight with either cotto or baldomir that he went to decisions with guys levels below him, and his answer to why he did is because he wanted to gain experience. im not sure if he did that with his last or recent opponents, or he just couldn't knock em out, but it still remains to be seen. I really want to see him tested soon, like everyone else, i wanna know what saul is really made of against top opposition. but good for him getting the cover. he keeps building a bigger following, he gets boxing more exposure i guess.

Why are you screaming?! Haha! Dude chill no need to get all defensive. Look you said, "DLH is gunna cry when he gets exposed!!!" Obviously you don't know that for sure. So by saying that you want him to get exposed.Comment

and yeah it pretty much was. i have no clue why alvarez didn't KO him, i'm pretty sure he was capable of doing it....Comment

Hatton was a tuff skinny guy.. You got to give him credit.. He took big shots... That cotto punch did affect him, mind you he's still young.. He still ended up taking care of him... I don't think he's small at all?... He has good power and underrated speed.. Goes to the body with a good left.. If he continues to get better and I don't see why he wouldn't, we should have a great fighter.Comment

Lol, i wasn't yelling, just not very cool when you put words in my mouth. Canelo is just a kid he didnt look good against Hatton. Well have to wait a few years to find out if hes the real deal, or all hype.Comment

Why do people hate hype? honestly? You complain about the sport not getting enough recongnition, and then when someone does get popular, you hate them.
no one is claiming he is the second coming of a Ray Leonard or Ali or anything. hes just a young, exciting fan favorite.
stop being such ****s.Comment

It's not like he didn't look good. He disappointed by not KOing Hatton. He looked good in the sense that he just beat him up. I think he needs to grow defensively, he's still getting hit more than he should. I don't think too much of him because he's still unproven. If he beats Rhodes, I can say he's on the right track to becoming a real star.Comment
