you gotta remember though ODLH owns the magazine so he will put his boys on the cover. Canelo is making waves though.

Truthfully, this isn't really a bias move. In the last few months, they've put out Manny Pacquiao twice, Wladimir Klitschko, Sergio Martinez, Vitali Klitschko, Pacquiao/Shane Mosley.

Other than a relatively recent Floyd Mayweather cover, that's virtually no Golden Boy fighters. But all these fighters do have one thing in common; hot commodities. Alvarez, whether he's "earned" it or not, is just that. Big following. Hundreds and thousands in Mexico love him. Mexican-Americans are also coming around. It makes sense to put him on the cover.
