Damn why don't Gayweather call a press conference and just admit he has a huge p.u.s.s.y and he is to afraid to fight Pac. Then he can continue with his 37 tune ups or being on vacation.

Neither Pac or Mayweather would be cherrypicking Ortiz since he's the #3 welterweight right now. But neither would be ducking him since he's clearly young, inexperienced, and nowhere near their league. I don't see either fighters taking him because he brings nothing to the table.

For the people excited about the WBC belt, Floyd wouldn't pay sanctioning fees for his fight with Shane, what makes you think he'd do it for Ortiz?

It does make sense. Mayweather has all the cash in the world. Why would he be sitting ringside with his buddy 50 cent? Im sure he wouldnt go to watch boxing for the love of the sport, i believe he was there to eye out a possible fighter for his next fight. He loves the WBC belts and I think he wants to regain the WW championship then force Manny to fight at 147 dead with no bull crap catch weight for the the $$$$$$ in boxing.

Hatton was able to kinda wobble Mayweather so can a 161 pound tank like Ortiz. I suggest for Ortiz to fight a slick fighter like Mike Jones or a counter puncher like Koltelnik who will fight at 147 before taking the Mayweather fight. Ortiz was a little faster than Berto to be honest and punched with lots of Volume. Don't forget Ortiz is a patient puncher at times, and Mayweather doesn't let his hands loose through most of the fight, so something can change. He went 12 rounds punching with Volume against Berto. Ortiz won't tire like a 36 year old Oscar did. Make this happen next year.
Mayweather can stop Ortiz...don't fool yourself.

Victor is a sucker for any kind of right hand...and he doesn't jab..

Floyd would have him spinning around like a figure skater..lol..

Now that Ortiz won his plan back fired and he's playing it off as if he was scouting Ortiz. Ortiz dosn't fit his bill he's not over 37 years of age,he's not a little guy, his come back fight is probably a Mathew hatton or some old dude maybe Erik Morales.
                That's dumb.

Mayweather was PRAYING for Berto to lose.

Ortiz has a HUGE mexican fanbase.

                What does Berto have..?????????

Fighting Victor Ortiz makes more $$$

You guys are too busy hating to think things through...Boxing is a BUSINESS.

Ortiz is a better BUSINESS move than Berto's broke ass.

Good fight for Mayweather to get back in action, can't hate too much on it really, I just wanna see Mayweather back in the ring and active again and I like the kid Ortiz.

I'd love to see Ortiz KO Maidana.
