Neither Pac or Mayweather would be cherrypicking Ortiz since he's the #3 welterweight right now. But neither would be ducking him since he's clearly young, inexperienced, and nowhere near their league. I don't see either fighters taking him because he brings nothing to the table.

It does make sense. Mayweather has all the cash in the world. Why would he be sitting ringside with his buddy 50 cent? Im sure he wouldnt go to watch boxing for the love of the sport, i believe he was there to eye out a possible fighter for his next fight. Mayweather would win on points, but he's not KO'ing Ortiz. However Ortiz has the power to change the fight. Hatton was able to kinda wobble Mayweather so can a 161 pound tank like Ortiz. I suggest for Ortiz to fight a slick fighter like Mike Jones or a counter puncher like Koltelnik who will fight at 147 before taking the Mayweather fight. Ortiz was a little faster than Berto to be honest and punched with lots of Volume. Don't forget Ortiz is a patient puncher at times, and Mayweather doesn't let his hands loose through most of the fight, so something can change. He went 12 rounds punching with Volume against Berto. Ortiz won't tire like a 36 year old Oscar did. Make this happen next year.

I think it's a complete lie Floyd and all the expert thought Berto was going to win cause they thought Ortiz didn't have any heart. Why would Floyd fight the loser in a comeback he thought Ortiz was going to lose and he figured he can out box the slow footed one punch Berto. Now that Ortiz won his plan back fired and he's playing it off as if he was scouting Ortiz. Ortiz dosn't fit his bill he's not over 37 years of age,he's not a little guy, his come back fight is probably a Mathew hatton or some old dude maybe Erik Morales.
