Floyd: "Ortiz who? He don't have any fans and he has losses on his record."

He has already fought and defeated both of them. I heard he's going to fight featherweight Chris John next.

I suggest for Ortiz to fight a slick fighter like Mike Jones or a counter puncher like Koltelnik who will fight at 147 before taking the Mayweather fight. Ortiz was a little faster than Berto to be honest and punched with lots of Volume. Don't forget Ortiz is a patient puncher at times, and Mayweather doesn't let his hands loose through most of the fight, so something can change. He went 12 rounds punching with Volume against Berto. Ortiz won't tire like a 36 year old Oscar did. Make this happen next year.
hatton never wobbled floyd..that punch didnt even land

And what if this Golden Goose loses to someone else?

"in a perfect world" means that currently there are obstacles preventing this from being made.

FM would not make Ortiz cry as has been posted. FM is a safer fight for Ortiz than the Berto fight was. That doesn't mean that Ortiz has a better chance against Floyd it just means that there is less risk of getting KO'd against Floyd. Floyd wins this fight but if Ortiz comes in possessed again (despite getting countered to death) he just might make it interesting.

Bottom line I don't think Floyd at this point comes back to fight a young, strong and hungry bull like Ortiz.

Did you see how many body punches and jabs that Berto threw?

                  Does berto have defense?

Does berto have good inside fighting?

                  was Bertos stamina incredible?

Don't think Mayweather would take the fight though.
No he won't take the fight he was there scouting Berto. Ortiz isn't old he's not small, and he's not Baldimor so that fight dosn't happen. I think if Ortiz fought Mayweather like he did Berto he can possibly win. Hatton and Judah gave Mayweather trouble for about 7 rounds and Ortiz is much better, bigger and stronger that these two chumps. Floyd dosn't do to well with Lefty's because the shoulder roll works best agnist right handers.
