Not if Pacqiuao keeps his belt.

I'm sure Pacqiauo would love to fight Ortiz. But his promoter wouldn't.

Bob Arum is not going to work with GBP. And most likely never will.

It makes it even harder now

Unless Ortiz wants to fight Zaveck or Senshenko

Well Pacquiao has a strap but i doubt the fight with Ortiz will get made. And quite frankly I don't think anyone wants to see Ortiz fight these guys. I didn't even know who the hell had the other belts until this thread.

Honestly, this is actually asking too much according to Bob Arum and Golden Boy. They aren't working together and I don't see that changing.

Still, there are some lesser-known fighters that Ortiz, for example, could go after and really get himself going. If he manages to face and beat M'baye, Zaveck and Senchenko, then he's got all the major championships at the weight other than Manny Pacquiao's.

This would really get him noticed, this would really get Golden Boy behind him once again and this would really raise his stock. If he managed to beat Marcos Maidana along the way as well, which is possible with the new attitude and the weight, he'd really make himself a star.

With that, Bob Arum might not have a choice. The biggest fight at that weight besides a Mayweather clash would be an Ortiz showdown. That's about the best chance we have of unification, because Pacquiao ain't fighting these guys to round them up. Can't say I blame him.

i wish golden boy & top rank would end the war.

but honestly, wouldn't pac get shitted on if he fought Ortiz? Seems like an easy fight and everyone would talk about how he got stopped by maidana and got a draw against peterson.
