    "Vicious" Victor Ortiz Has Arrived!

i posted on this site about year back that...
Victor Ortiz will be the most successful out of all the 140 fighters....
People on here talked **** (Maidana this, Maidana that) but let's be real people... The only person who has beaten Victor Ortiz is himself... he's hurt everyone he has ever fought... the only reason he even lost to Maidana was because he got careless but had he stuck to the gameplan he would've won easily... when he is on his a game, no one can touch him... he is a strong finisher... none the less, i was so happy to see him capture the welterweight title.... it was only a matter of time, i think he has learned what he needs to take it to the next level... i think he can hurt pacquiao...

i wonder how robert garcia and brandon rios feel about victor winning the title... crazy how they are both champs now...

if he fights with that same fire and intensity all the time he could be a big star.

I made fun of him quite a bit on this site but he impressed me against berto because I never saw that side of him. He was all talk up until saturday night. Again if he has that burning desire in him to do whatever it takes to win, he'll be a star. If he loses that fire though, he'll be back to underachieving like he did against perterson/maidana.

I think its safe to say neither celebrated when Ortiz won. It seems there's a lot bad blood between them. Garcia chastised Ortiz in his last interview. Wonder why HE dislikes him so, Rios I can get but Garica is older and wiser.

he cares in the sense that the more successful Ortiz gets the more money Robert gets. He has a cut of Ortiz' career as a result of the ruling when Ortiz left him, manager Cameron Dunkin, and Top Rank.

What really impressed me is how he got up quickly after that monster right hook he got from Berto in the 6th. It shows that he really can take a punch, god knows what happened in the Maidana fight...

^this...I agree. He needs to keep fighting the same way he did with Berto.
