Actually he quit and it was 2 years ago when he was an inexperienced 22 year old who panicked in his 1st tough fight, he showed last night that he is a man now besides Maidana has never been soundly or impressively beaten by anyone.
Jones is older, the fights with Karass were recent, and he had 2 chances to look dominant against limited a brawler but failed while ending up in 2 wars with him even though supposedly lesser caliber of fighters had beaten Karass soundly.
Canelo didnt look inpressive against Mathew Hatton or but he still gets plenty shine.
Ortiz is a very very weak Champion...and you don't have to be some monster to beat him.
Berto almost beat him and he can't even fight on the inside.Comment

Clottey doesn't have and never has shown the mentality to be a real champion, Ortiz showed much more of that last night than I have ever seen from Clottey. The dude is a heavybag and always fights like he is scared and just wants to do barely enough to get the W.Comment
