Homeboy was practically unscathed and Karass was a bloody mess and face looking all busted up. I have the vids, brotha.
It was a tough fight, he didn't impress even if on the cards he did clearly win.

Jones is older, the fights with Karass were recent, and he had 2 chances to look dominant against limited a brawler but failed while ending up in 2 wars with him even though supposedly lesser caliber of fighters had beaten Karass soundly.
So what if Jones didn't impress against Karass..

Canelo didnt look inpressive against Mathew Hatton or but he still gets plenty shine.

Ortiz is a very very weak Champion...and you don't have to be some monster to beat him.

Berto almost beat him and he can't even fight on the inside.

Canelo has lost some shine after that fight, IDK how Ortiz is a weak champion when he just won the fight very convincingly, Berto didn't almost beat him, no way should it have been scored that close Berto couldn't have won more than 3 rounds.

Real counterpunchers don't wait..they make you throw..then counter.

Berto is not a counterpuncher...maybe he THINKS he is..but that's not reality.

Coulda woulda, who is shining his new WBC strap now?

We have to wait and see what Ortiz can do before we call him that.

Clottey doesn't have and never has shown the mentality to be a real champion, Ortiz showed much more of that last night than I have ever seen from Clottey. The dude is a heavybag and always fights like he is scared and just wants to do barely enough to get the W.
