Mike JOnes is not that good..
What exactly is it that you see in Ortiz's style that has you so convinced that he'll make easy work of Jones ?

I'm not completely sold on Jones myself, but, I like his upside when matching him up with Ortiz.

As far as Ortiz is concerned, he would definitely be a live underdog against Mike Jones.

Its a good fight, I would favor Ortiz right now, I mean Jones did receive a gift against Karass the 1st time and the 2nd fight was competitive think about that when Alfonse Gomez easily outboxed Karass.

C'mon, man. I mean, outside of the fact that anything can happen with a single punch. Ortiz is gonna have to work harder than what he showed on Saturday, just to beat Mike Jones !
we already saw ortiz destroy a counter-puncher.

Jones got a gift from Karras and Ortiz got KTFO by Maidana.

Actually he quit and it was 2 years ago when he was an inexperienced 22 year old who panicked in his 1st tough fight, he showed last night that he is a man now besides Maidana has never been soundly or impressively beaten by anyone.

Jones is older, the fights with Karass were recent, and he had 2 chances to look dominant against limited a brawler but failed while ending up in 2 wars with him even though supposedly lesser caliber of fighters had beaten Karass soundly.

Well, he's, just not a great one, lmao. Anyway, it's not Jones's counter-punching ability that Ortiz has to worry about, it's that length, that fast jab and movement that's gonna take Ortiz off his game, unless Ortiz decides to go JCC, Sr on us, then Jones will have problems.

Ortiz has the physical tools, but, will he apply them properly against Jones's physical tools is the million dollar question.

So far, I don't see it. What has changed about Ortiz is his resolved, I'll give him that.

Ugh, bro, I don't know what fight you were watchin'. But, I was at Mandalay watching the fight live up close. The Mexican crowd was taken out of it for the most part, except for a few blows landed by Karass here and there. But, that was a dominating win for Jones.

Homeboy was practically unscathed and Karass was a bloody mess and face looking all busted up. I have the vids, brotha.
