Did Berto gain more in this loss?

I was impressed. I didnt think he had it in him to get up after 2 knockdowns in the first round, and he looked better than in any of his fights.
he just happened to run into an Ortiz that was focused as hell, and was much more physically stronger since he didnt have to cut to 140 any more.Comment

He didn't give Collazo a rematch though, and to me that hurt his stock more than the win.No he didnt because he already showed heart against Collazo and when he got dropped against Rivera. He for the first time stepped up to b+ opposition since Luis and lost so this didnt do anything to help his career at all and imo his heart in the ring wasnt in question to begin with.Comment

He gained one of the most important things a fighter can gain. And that my friends is the experiance of a very tough outting. Collazo was tough, but Ortiz was a whole lot tougher. Now Andre has the lessons of last nights fight to digest and learn from. Oh yea. His stock did shoot up, he showed that he can **** with a very good puncher, who's power may have been underated, because he stuck around in a division that he possibly out grew two years ago.Comment

Berto failed in one of his first true tests in fighting a young prospect his own size. Without a belt does he even get anymore good fights to come back? I kinda doubt it.
People have been saying Berto wouldnt be able to handle someone his own size that was good, and they were proven right.Comment

Berto's stock got exposed as being ****ty.
Everybody knew he was all hype. Ortiz made him look like a lil b*tch and Ortiz isn't that good. Ortiz is the one who should've gotten all those million dollar paydays not Andre B*tchoComment
