Salido should get a rematch & at the same time a unification bout against Gamboa..He claims he didn't train well for Gamboa & he did look in better condition against Juanma..

He may claim whatever. He had time to train and as a fighter he must be kind of ready most of the time.

Lopez better learn some defense while he's exchanging. Salido is tough, and a rematch would be no easier.

I think a lot of people overlooked that. Salido is not the type of guy who rolls over and plays the stepping stone. I knew Juanma wouldn't be able to knock him out. He had to box. What I feared was what happened. He got lulled into exchanging...and not JUST exchanging, but rather throwing WILD punches WITH HIS HANDS DOWN! WTF was that all about?! All these people should calm down...Juanma was being rocked left and right. He just saved Juanma from further punishment.

If Calderón went to Mexico to try and regain his title I don't see why Juanma can't do the same. Stop babying him and make him earn that belt back! Have him fight Caballero first and then do the rematch.

Agreed. Salido earned the belt by guts, toughness and skill. The man made his way up the ladder with weights on his back. Orlando deserves to enjoy his moment in the sun; it may not be for long. Anyone calling this man a "bum" is unknowledgeable about boxing, at the least, and deliriously disrespectful, at worst. Guys like Orlando Salido are an inspiration; they've got more grit in their little fingers than most people have in their whole bodies....

"what happened was traumatic...juanma says he wants a rematch so the issue doesn't need any discussion". he is planning to do it in PR or NY, wow, so they can rob salido on a decision. i liked juanma before this, but man, what a pampered **** he is, hope salido puts him to sleep. sucks for salido to not even have any say on who he wants to fight, let alone where he wants to fight...hope he gets a big paycheck and keeps his belt.
