I'm not saying it would have great for pac's resume. Just better. Shane does nothing. I'm a fan of PAC and I'd rather at least shut people up about him only fighting old guys and the dumbest of all (floyd's leftovers).

Obviously no fight is going to be perfect for him except Floyd. But PAC would have a young undefeated physically prime titleholder scalp at ww.

Floyd is on vacay and dodging so that's not gonna happen. No one wants to see PAC-mosley after shames last two performances except people who just wanna see PAC fight anyone.

I can see where you're coming from with that.. and agree for the most part. Manny should have went after Bertos belt then this would be a non-issue.

The problem with me and my opinion about berto is nothing about me being a fan of pacquaio but more of my criticism of berto. I never liked berto as a fighter since of that robbery against collazo. Berto got exposed in that fight and since then was cherry picking light welterweights to fight at 147 and out of prime fighters. I always thought berto was a low stamina, hugging, no skilled, chinny fighter since collazo fight.

Add the fact that after the whole earthquake incident that he straight out ducked mosley in the renegotiation of that fight. Add that i am also a very big fan of Shane and i still think Shot shane is better than Berto ass now.

The only fight i wouldnt criticize is marquez or bradley at 140, floyd at 147 or pacquaio moving up 154 to fight Martinez.

Anybody else around are just fodders and hypejobs.

And even before berto lost, that i still feel that a shot shane is better than berto. That is how much lowly i feel of berto sorry ass. And also i feel that bradley can also beat berto at 147 since berto is an idiot in the ring.

Also add that i feel both berto and shane would do nothing for pacquaio legacy at their point of career.

I'm with you for the most part man.. I also wanted Manny to fight Berto over Mosley.. but how would that help Pacquiaos resume? Who has Berto defeated that was even close to top level competition? He had a questionable fight with Collazo and didn't even want that rematch. We all talk about titles/undefeated record not meaning a damn thing nowadays.. and Berto was a prime example.

Had that been Pacquiao taking Bertos '0' excuses woulda been all over the place.. sayin Berto was green/not talented/plodder/come forward fighter/punching bag..

At the end of the day.. anybody Manny faces other than Floyd/Martinez would be a mismatch.. so I just enjoy the show.

Unfortunately, life doesn't move in hindsight or we'd all be prophets. Pacquiao has gone out of his way to take the best low-risk opponent possible. If Ortiz loses down the line, it won't reverse the past and make him a worse option than a welter Marquez today. Stop trying to give Pacquiao victories he hasn't won. Paul Williams, Andre Berto and whomever were beaten by other people willing to take the risk Pacquiao wasn't up to. Are you going to make a thread about Sergio Martinez or Floyd Mayweather when they lose, crowing how they weren't really that deserving of a Pacquiao bout either? Your logic, as usual, makes no sense.
