I was 1 of those that said it should be Berto across the ring from Pacman & not Mosley.But chingas seems to want to make it sound like that means that ur picking Berto over Pacman.That wasn't my reasoning(speaking for myself alone).But berto was young prime & undefeated.An easy night for Pacman,sure,but it would erase any doubts that Pacman doesn't fight young,prime black fighters.What pacman passed on,Ortiz took for himself & he deserved it.

Everybody was saying Calzaghe was scared of Pavlik, Pavlik was willing to come up to 168 to fight Calzaghe, he was calling out Calzaghe day in and day out. Hopkins fights Pavlik at 170, takes his 0 and takes the credit that Calzaghe could have gotten. In conclusion, Calzaghe fans were like "Oh see, that's the guy Calzaghe was ducking? Pshh".

Same in this case, Pacquiao could have had the credit of taking Berto's 0. Now Pac fans are like, Berto is not worth it.

Not really. I thought they should fight, but Manny beating Berto means a whole lot of nothing.

Same with the Marquez and Mosley fights.

Now if he beats Mayweather and Martinez.....that's another story as those are the only bouts that do anything for Manny career wise (at this point).
