I was 1 of those that said it should be Berto across the ring from Pacman & not Mosley.But chingas seems to want to make it sound like that means that ur picking Berto over Pacman.That wasn't my reasoning(speaking for myself alone).But berto was young prime & undefeated.An easy night for Pacman,sure,but it would erase any doubts that Pacman doesn't fight young,prime black fighters.What pacman passed on,Ortiz took for himself & he deserved it.

This is true and why the Mosley fight sucks. I for one have never said this fight was great, and before there were ever talks of Manny vs Marquez III.....Ive stated that was a pointless fight as well.

Berto, Mosley and Marquez are all **** fights, and for me it's Floyd or Martinez as those are the only opponents for Manny that I'm interested in right now.

Typical of U seeing only 1 point.He's young,prime,Black & undefeated.It would have been a better win for Pacman than a 40 year old Mosley who hasn't won a fight in 2 years.Being undefeated is only 1 of the many reasons that Berto wouldhave been a better choice than Mosley.But when a post is solid & U spend so much time sucking a fighter off,U try & find anything to take out of context,thats just lame.

I say that the only fights that Manny should be taking that mean something are Floyd and Martinez, and somehow that translates into be defending Manny and his fight against Mosley. I have said it a ton in this thread and in the past.......fighting Mosley is a terrible fight, even Marquez III at 147, but somehow people think that saying Berto fight sucks as well = you hyping up Pac vs Mosley and Pac vs Marquez III.

TBH Pac gets zero credit from me by beating Berto. Same with Mosley and same with Marquez....as they do nothing for him career wise.
