HBO has to step their game up because Arum took his show over to Showtime. HBO giving Golden Boy all those dates last year was the best thing they could have given boxing fans because now Arum is on the other network making great FREE cards. HBO is going to have to compete now by only showing GREAT cards. No more Julio Ceasar Chavez Jr PPV. Now if we can just get boxing back on network television like the old days instead of all this damn reality TV

I know Floyd like Pernell, Robinson, Armstrong, Pep and others epidomizes the sweet science of boxing. Benitez wasn't a KO artist but he's probably on everybodies All Time Top 10 @147 list. I appreciate the KO but moreso the winner that gets away barely touched.

I compare it to Williams vs Martinez I due to the fact there should be a rematch. And this fight was WAY better than Manny vs Cotto because Cotto was NEVER in the fight. I am suprised this fight didnt end in a KO. After that 6th round I just KNEW either fighter was gonna catch the other with something BIG and put them to sleep.

I'm thrilled for Ortiz! He's a great kid. About Ortiz fighting possessed--- I told you guys that when Mexicans are angry they are automatically 20% better.

There was an obvious bias by the judges because one of them scored it 114-112 yet there is no way Berto won more than 2 rounds.

Sergio Martinez is a boxer like Mayweather. I am not saying Martinez fights like Mayweather or is as great as Mayweather, but what I am saying is that they have the same frame of mind when fighting. Hit and not get it.

The difference between the 2 of them is, to me at least, is that Martinez is more fun to watch because he makes you miss when he's inches away from you and make you pay tremendously when you do miss. I can't say the same for Mayweather. Martinez will finish you if the opportunity arises, Mayweather will carry you.

Mayweather vs Marquez was a good example of this. Marquez was outmatched in every category against Mayweather, and yet Mayweather would not lay it on him and finish the fight. Another example was Baldomir. Same thing.

Mayweather is great, and 130, you couldn't find a more perfect fighter than embodied the sweet science. But after 135, Mayweather has been too cautious, and too defensive minded for my liking.

I didn't think Cotto was never in the fight. But ok. We can agree to disagree. But no way this fight was better than Martinez vs Williams. That was an even matched fight with plenty of skill and heart.

I didn't say it was BETTER than Williams/Martinez. I said it was like it in a way that a rematch was due. I'd fly wherever that rematch was to see it live because thats going to be an entertaining fight. Hell I think it'd be more entertaining than Mayweather vs Pacquiao
