Yeah, classy Cotto the great and humble warrior is veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery underrated. His only 2 losses are versus cheaters Pac and Margo. I do have 2 say that I don't THINK Margarito used plaster vs Cotto but it doesn't matter. All of Margarito's victories become questionable because of what he was trying to do. I might defend whether Margo used plaster but I won't give him credit for his win vs Cotto.

WOW.... Seems like all these undefeated fighters are tasting defeat. They keep forgetting how hungry other fighters are. Can't live off of the "0" and fighting guys that you think are easy wins. Props to all the hardworking hungry mofo's in the game.

I have a morbid sense of satisfaction with regards to Juanma's lost. Whether he took Salido lightly, or just didn't train... it's no excuse. You win/lose a figth in the gym and it seems that he believed all the PR press clippings.

Nevertheless, Juanma can find a silver linning in the stopagge... at least with it he has an excuse. For I'm 99% certain that without it, he would have been counted out in front of our countrymen... and women... LOL

I hope that for his next fight, he doesn't only bring with offense..... now there is a clear blue print. I don't know if it's too late to teach defense and for god sakes, please teach the kid how to HOLD!!!!!!

I personally think that each figther should taste humble pie during the course of their career... it's the one sure way to know what they are made off. But please folks, let it be the last time (for now) that we put Gomez, Benitez, Ortiz, Trinidad... and dare I say, Cotto in the same line as Juanma. Each of these guys made habits of eating the Salido's of the world for appetizers.

Juanma has potential and one can say that he was not on the level tonight. But if you are turly a "great" fighter, you handle your busines against oponents such as the new Champion.

          Great fight!

even if cotto loses the rematch i'll still be a cotto fan because i know he's gonna bring his all to the ring. he aint ****y or arrogant and he never had the nerve to say he was better than his fellow countrymen.

Juanma showed a ton of heart, but it this isn't much of a shock to most PR's, at least this one. He's had glaring weaknesses that haven't been improved on in countless fights. He still squares up terribly, he has no head movement, and he doesn't utilize a jab at all. He throws nothing but short power combinations and that works well until a guy can take your punch. He obviously has some boxing ability he just doesn't use it at all, which is the reason he gets in so many wars.

Also his defense is horrific especially for how weak of a chin he has, all that being said he's a decent fighter but as stated is in bad need of a new trainer. I also had no problem with the stoppage, he was getting battered for three rounds, it took all he had to stay up after the first onslaught, it was obvious he wasn't going to go down, but he was going to take a lot of unnecessary punishment, health of the fighter should always come before the entertainment of the fans.

                    Great Stoppage!!

Kudos to the referee, he is the son of a great ref and judge and he did a great job, Juanma was out on his feet and taking big shots, stop the sour g****s... The best was Arums face along with the rest of the TR scum, who thought they were on a nice vacation in PR!!!!!!!!
