First of all, props to JuanMa for taking this fight. He fought with courage and there is nothing for my Puert Rican brothers to be ashamed of. JuanMa could've fought just a little bit more but he was also tired, missing alot and Salido was landing with increasing leverage. Maybe the kid would've been seriously hurt. The good news is that JuanMa gets to fight another day and make more big $$$. He has his health and that is the best news for me. Damn, all Latinos are badass!!!

Although I, like most don't agree with the stoppage, Juanma was out on his feet and didn't have much behind his punch so the outcome was acamedic in my mind. Serioulsy though, in my opinion, this is possibly the best thing that could have happened to Juanma to chart the remainder of his career; we'll see what comes about. He truly looked unmotivated and distracted in stark contrast to his opponent.

couldn't have said it better maybe the ref saved his career by allowing additional unnecessary damage. look at ortiz even though he quit on his own by not allowing additional damage look what happened tonight he saved his career. same with juanma but he didn't quit and showed great heart. Like i said he needs a new team and work on his defense if he does that and learns how to box more he will be a beast. Needs defense for that weak chin i can see him still becoming champion
