If Ortiz wins by any means besides a clear robbery he gets a ton of credit...
If Ortiz Takes Berto's '0'....

My issue with Ortiz is his defense.
He couldn't avoid a right hand for his life in the Lamont fight.
In the Maidana fight he got hit with 5 or 6 right hands in a row.
If Berto lands regularly with his right, its over.Comment

The 2nd half is what "lost" Ortiz the fight. If he did that for 12 and still managed to win Berto would have to have put on a really bad performance
It would be one of those "Ortiz didn't really 'win' he was just less worse than Berto" situations. Kinda like Haye vs Valuev.Comment

Potshotting is old school. You have be very skilled to do that, it's not a walk in the park. Ortiz doesn't have the skills to potshot from what I have seen.
Very few fighters can do that. That's not just something you decide to do one night and hope you can pull it off. You have to master it.
The last few very good potshotters have been RJJ, Toney, and Mayweather, that I can think of from the top of my head. Ortiz is nowhere near those guys skill level. If anything Berto has more of a chance of pulling off a potshot victory and not even he has the skills to do that imo.Comment

Yep,imagine a guy like that tryna potshot his way to victory. To potshot you need good reflexes, you need good defense, and you need good handspeed. It's not just something Urbano Antillon or Brandon Rios can do, like, oh "hey i'm just gonna pot shot against this guy, and then brawl in my next fight, it' easy, any one can do it"

If Berto isn't good enough to beat a running, pot shotting Ortiz, then he doesn't deserve to keep his 0.Comment
