how so? I bought it and I felt like it was one of the best PPV's I've ordered in a while. The main even turned out to be a classic, a true FOTY candidate. Even though I'm a kirkland fan that was HUGE to see him get TKO'd, The ghost vs Katsidis was a damn good fight and paulie vs cotto was a decent scrap as well.

    I was very pleased.

Entertainment wise.... it was a quality filled card... and what happened was, most fans didn't think it would be as great as it actually was.

I just hope the fighters themselves get paid and didn't get swindled into some low flat purse + percentage clause.

50,000*40 is 2,000,000 a little less than half goes to cable providers so 1+ million.

BAD license fees are about a half million.

              Reed speaks the truth.

It is then decreed into law by Emperor Julius Caesar Augustus Phantom5.

That PPV was worth every dime.

sure the **** did...the last-minute fight party we had was a blast...the casuals enjoyed and the die hards replayed the whole card and watched it at LEAST twice that night

worth every penny for this fight fan

the one where fighters don't get percentages of the ppv revenue and money is spent on viral\tv advertisement... And the profits are so marginal that giving it all away to international relief funds makes no difference to the bottom line

There is still a difference between no profit and losing money~ plus for donating that money they do get a tax write off so it is important to them how large that number is.

On top of that they had no other options~
