Basically Arum is saying that both will be matched up soft in the mean time. Just do the fight right now if it's good than do a damn rematch. Corrales-Castillo first fight sold a few tickets then the rematch was a sellout.

Arum probably thinks Lopez will get dominated if the fight happens, so he thinks that won't be a scenario. He'd rather milk Lopez as much as possible until he gets exposed. So here comes the Rafael Marquez-Lopez rematch that isn't necessary.

And this is why a lot of people don't like boxing. You have to wait way too long for fights. Pac-May, Wlad-Haye, Gamboa-Lopez, and a ton of others. Its ridiculous and really needs to change. Now I hope Gamboa or Lopez get KTFO and Arums plan backfires.

Sorry Arum . Maybe now boxing will start giving people the fights they want to see rather than them waiting years for it.
