It's frustrating for guys like Berto ...

The top guys leftovers should be used as stepping stones for him, as well as other fighters of his ilke ...

    Cotto
    Clottey
    Mosley
    Margarito
    etc

Just in the same way, Mayweather's leftovers were used to make Pacquaio and Cotto big - this cycle should continue. Shot past prime fighter should not be recycled for fighters at the top. It's this sort of stance which makes me despise Top Rank even more...

What's good for the Goose is good for the Gander?

Obviously that doesn't work for this scenario considering you're using the "Well Mayweather fought him so why can't Manny?" argument which is flawed logic considering you just said Floyd fighting Marquez at 147 wasn't legit yet Manny fighting him is.

Thus meaning the term 'What's good for the Goose is good for the Gander' is the complete opposite to what you are saying.

But anyway as your post confirms you're saying Floyd fighting Marquez at 147 isn't legit but Manny fighting him at 147 is. Gotcha.

We aren't talking about boring. You said that he was "always a tough out"? So I asked you when. Kostya smoked him in 2 rounds, wasn't that easy? And lets please not act like Judah was the WW champ when Clottey beat him. He was FAR removed from that.

Good post. He totally misused the cliche.

Wasn't a good fight for Floyd and it shouldn't be for manny.

To be honest Larry, this is the fight I've been wanting for Manny other than Floyd. I wanted this instead of the Mosley fight. If he beats Ortiz, I don't even care if it's impressive, let them fight. A Cotto or Marg rematch isn't worth it right now. I wouldn't mind JMM though.
