It's a real pickem fight, because there are just too many question marks surrounding a very green Peter.

If he is able to walk though some punishment and absorb some shots without being discouraged, and his stamina holds up, he should win eventually.

If he's bothered by Wlad's power or jab, he may go into a shell and get outboxed, or if he lacks stamina chin or heart, this may mirror the Wlad vs McCline fight.

Too many unknowns in this fight.

....Anybody else feel like Bozo's avatar is about to give them a seizure when they look at? Even out of the corner of my eye it bugs me. Too quick or something.

      Kind of fitting.

Now what I say AND my Avatar can upset you at the same time.

no, its not... had wlad immediately rematched sanders, i would have picked sanders... i'm not sure i'd take wlad in a rematch against brewster either(depending on this fight)... you are correct a lot is unknown about peter... i'm am guessing that peter can take a punch, but is a technically flawed fighter... his agression will work against him and wlad will be able to exploit that... while my prediction may be obvious the reasoning for it is not...

its hard not to take offense to your post, but i'm trying.. i didnt think i posted your typical nuthugger thread...

lol, all the flaming, threats, Karma drive bys, personal private messages, but what I say doesn't bother you.

            Right.

Just like I don't bother Nawtilus, right until he thought I got banned, and then he makes an "Awwww where's Bozo going" thread.

You "gotta see" my signature, because you go out of your way to read my posts.

It's at times astounding how popular I am around here.

Did you hear about that nut hugger that spent all that time and effort copying me?

            Unreal.

I don't know how well thought out your reasoning is, but we'll find out Saturday.

If Wlad is going to keep Peter off him, he's going to be spending a lot of energy. If he tries to get Peter out of there, he's going to be spending a lot of energy.

If Peter doesn't go anywhere, when's the last time Wlad looked good and dangerous mid to late in a fight?

There are just as many questions about Wlad in this fight.

I don't think much of Peter, but I am sure hoping he gets it done, because there are going to be some of you that will be emotionaly devistated if Wlad loses.

Gringo bet 700 mil on the Wlad KO/TKO inside of 6 because thats where the good odds are, but I WANT Peter to KO Wlad.

I predict an early Peter KO/TKO, but I wont lose any sleep if Wlad knocks him the **** out either.

if the fight goes late, but peter has become just a punching bag for wlad, i'm not worried.... but if peter is pressing the action and putting alot of pressure on wlad(ala brewster) then there's reason for concern... i think wald's stamina issue has more to do with mental pressure, then physical fatigue... he was able to spank mccline, byrd and mercer in late rounds with ease, cause they offered little in return... harrison's comment regarding peter could be very telling, as he stated that peter went into a shell when smacked with a hard shot...

                    1. Peter is going to have to absorb punishment to get to Wlad. Peter does look like he can take a punch, but everyman has a threshold. Brewster took a lot of punishment before getting to Wlad, but Brewster has a pretty good defense, he keeps his hands high, right to his face. Brewster also stays crouched low, making him more difficult to hit. Peter doesn’t fight like that, he seems to stand straight up. I see Peter taking a lot of jabs and right hands to get to Wlad. You might be thinking “what about Sanders, he got to Wlad”, well Sanders is a 6’4” southpaw with a sneaky, quick straight left hand. Peter is nothing like that.
                    2. Peter’s technique looks sloppy. His punches look somewhat slow and telegraphed.
                    3. Wlad is bigger, taller, has more reach and is far more experienced. He is also the superior boxer in terms of skill.
                    4. People picking Peter to win, keep saying all he has to is land one good punch on Wlad’s chin to beat him. Well, that’s the same thing people said when they were picking Tua and Tyson to beat Lewis. In most cases, a guy with only a puncher’s chance of winning comes up short.
                    5. Audley Harrison had an interesting remark regarding Peter. He stated that when they met as amateurs, Peter came out aggressively against him until Audley nailed him one good time and then he became timid, allowing Audley to win an easy decision.
                    6. Manny Steward, enough said.

IMO, the telling point of this fight will be in opening round. I’m sure Peter will come out aggressive and Wlad will be looking to box and jab. The first time Wlad hits peter with a hard shot, we’ll know where the fight is headed. If Peter is unphased and keeps coming after Wlad, then Wlad is in for a tough fight. If Peter is hurt, then Wlad will take him out quickly. If Peter takes it, but becomes timid than, Wlad will school him and either stop him late or take a decision.

My prediction, Peter’s aggression will leave openings for Wlad. Wlad by KO early.

peter is gonna get tired alot earlier than wlad is..wlad by ko

Peter's young and doesn't have HALF the experience Wlad does. The way I see it, Wlad's going to pepper Peter with jabs and the fight will be over after about 6 or 7 rounds. Peter looks durable but he wont put any "educated" pressure on Wlad, he'll just flail his arms wildly and hope for a KO with his left hook.

If Wlad had 1 arm, and just jabbed he would still win this fight.

I can't wait to hear the Wlad haters once Peter loses.
