    It's not called "DUCKING" if they're not within your reach in weight level...because if it is, then DONAIRE is ducking MARTINEZ too.

    Geezus!

    Whoever it is, the boxers aren't contingent or required to fight another of higher weight level, even for Floyd Mayweather though he is much bigger than Pacquiao and relatively more "doable" than Pacquiao.

    We cannot vilify anyone....not even Mayweather. Now Mayweather vs. Pacquiao is very doable...and both, in a way are ducking each other in each others' eyes.

    In my humble opinion, If I call the shots, there should be a GOVERNING BODY that would have more backbone than the NSAC. That meant that there will be unification championship for each weight level as a MUST and the champ must fight the good fights.

      Mayweather isn't ducking Martinez for the same reason Pacquiao isn't, both are at the end of both their careers and ability to move up in weight. They don't want to move up to a weight they clearly didn't feel comfortable fighting at before and that neither weighed in anywhere near the limit for.

            Listen sweety,

            Pacquiao went for his 8th title at 154 lbs. Again, 154 lbs. If he and his camp want to claim that they have a title at 154 pounds, then there is no reason why they cant fight Martinez at 154 pounds. Its as simple as that. If you say that Pacquiao is too small for 154 pounders, then you can't boast about his "8th title". Simple.As.That.

              You were saying?

              And thank you for re-enforcing the notion that Floyd fans are the most racist on the board. You guys make this way too easy.
              Saying Floyd fans are the most racist says more about you than you think.

                Here's Floyd's assumed reason(s):

                "He's lost 2 times, been knocked out once by Margarito."

                "How many times has he been on pay-per-view? You see, he's not (clap) a (clap) pay-per-view (clap) attraction!"

                Here's Manny's reason(s):

                "Ahhhh, you know, I'll fight him but ahhhh, you know, he's gotta come down to one-porty-seben."

                "Because ahhh, you know, he's too big and ahhh, you know, because I pought Margarito at 150 and I got hurt so ahhh, you know."

                  Ever heard of the words "testing the water"?

                  That's what Pacquiao did, he tested whether he could indeed fight well at 154lbs. But he could not. He weighed 144 on weighing time and 149 at fight night. He told his corner about Margarito, translated from tagalog, "he's just too big"

                  That's the reason he relinquished his title. And you still want him to fight Martinez, when Pacquiao himself could not heallthily compete in that division?

                  You're just too selfish for your sake.
