Because if he comes out of vacation he is going to fight Spadafora.
So Manny is ducking Martinez because of his size, what was Floyd's reason?

Manny pretty much admitted that Martinez is too big for him. Floyd said in the post Mosley presser that Martinez could be considered, but that was millions of years ago. Why is this fight not happening? Wasn't Floyd coming back from retirement to take over the sport of boxing?
Hardcore Floyd fans complain so much about Pac not fighting Martinez just for this sole reason.
They get everyone to talk, complain, and whine about Pac/Martinez, Pac this, and Manny that, just to keep us from realizing and asking...
Hey? What about Floyd?
He always goes on about how Pac is a little midget and how
He fought DLH at the better weight.
Why can't he fight Martinez?Comment

Because he has personal issues to handle. Namely the issue with his wife, court, and the possibility of going to jail or losing his kids. Whichever.
When that gets settled he can think about boxing again. Seeing how he has IRS issues as well.
At least it makes sense for him to do what he does. Where as Pacquiao doesn't have highly publicized issues and still rather fight a foot in the grave old man.Last edited by F l i c k e r; 04-14-2011, 04:01 PM.Comment

No. If you were a man, which you obviously aren't. It's called handling your business. Floyd's #1 business right now is to handle the shyt with that woman and his kids.
As far as Corrales goes. That's why he was fucked up in the head most of the time. He never handled his shyt, he tried to run away from it by doing other shyt. Instead of just handling his business. If he would have handled his business, he wouldn't have had to get drunk to get away from it all, and he probably wouldn't have died. rest in peace to the man but that is real talk.Comment

Whatever he does with his money is his thing. Whatever he does for fun, is his thing. All I know is, he has shyt to handle with his personal life and boxing goes on the back burner when it comes to Floyd and his personal life.
you can hate all you want but it doesn't change the reality of things.Comment
