Uhh...when the guy loses a round...then lets have this conversation. He hasnt lost a single round since the Sanders fight imo...he just KO 1'd a top 10 HW and hes 40. Sure hes slowed down some. All fighters past 33 are on the slide... some are a very slow gradual slide down, and others like RJJ are on a straight down plummet.

well its easy to call after he starts losing a blind man could do that ... its a lot more challenging to call when exactly the winning steak is about to come to an end and he might be about to lose by observing his fights and observing subtle detoriations from previous ones. That said Vitali on the slide is still probably the best heavyweight out there at the moment.

Yes he slowed down definetly. He is going to be 40 soon, reflexaes are different, muscle reaction is not the same either. But by watching 1st round of Solis fight, can't really say that he is slowing down. He is always patient his first 2-3 rounds, almost never exchanging

A round...1. How many fighters currently active have gone aslong as him without losing a round? Guys are suriviving in their against him when they just cover up and try to last.

Adamek couldn't get rid of Kevin McBride and Michael Grant -- is he "on the slide" as well for these people?

I completely and utterly reject any argument against Vitali based on the Solis fight. I have never seen so much delusional commentary from one round of boxing that the man in question WON in my life.
