Gonzalez should be calling out Juanma Lopez or Gamboa. but uncle bob would never let that happen.
the bad thing with gonzalez is that his chin is questionable..he hits pretty hard but ever since he's been losing,he isn't as agressive as he used to be before the penalosa fight...juanma will be fighting marquez after salido and then moving up as will gamboa,so i doubt they will ever fight, don't know why juanma is moving up when 130 isn't any good at all,126 has better fights

Espadas was a good fighter...10 years ago. Right now this is an atrocious mismatch.

Yeah, Espadas was a decent fighter, I guess this would be considered a tune-up fight, it definitley shouldn't be considered a title defense...

On a side note, even after Gamboa and Juanma move up (which both will do later this year according to them), I think there will be some good fights at 126 lbs. You got Gonzalez, Rafael Marquez, Celestino Caballero and the old warhouse still on top of his game, Chris John. I would love to see a 126 lbs tournament with all four of these guys, the same as the bantamweight tournament. I think Showtime could get good ratings for it and every matchup would surely be entertaining. The only problem is Chris John doesn't like to fight out of his homeland which could be a sticking point...
