Seems astounding to me that a trainer as seasoned as Brother ****m wouldn't be impressing upon Shane the need to abandon this notion that he has this great equalizing power that can rescue him from the balanced gameplan of a real boxer. Yeah, Shane can crack, but as Floyd demonstrated, once you figuer out his limited plan of attack, that power gets neutralized pretty quickly. I can already see that frustrated look creep across his rapidly swelling face in the 4th or 5th round.

ssm is nothing more than a dumb but talented fighter. What fight has he had to and so made adjustments. He fights on pride and talent alone. And his talent left town years ago. So pride will only get u so far. Ask Margarito!

Isn't good for a good fighter challenging the smaller fighter.. esp. challenging Pac who indeed fought in JMW yet his weight never been in actual JMW!!! but rather still in WW!!! Instead of challenging the smaller guy, why not go up northward and challenge Andre Ward, Carl Froach, Lucian Bute or even Stieglitz in order to see how Martinez would be look like with these true tigers just ups of his present division now??!

Although i want him to clean up his divisions by fighting first Felix Sturn before considering big fights next with a credible champions!

i like mosley, but dude is going down in flames for this performance. pac seems like he is really in top shape, no drama in his camp from all the articles i've read, seems like this will be manny's best performance...
haha, i remember i said after mosley/mayweather, pac should fight mosley with ease and coast to a decision, but let mosley get some moments in....perhaps that'll bring floyd out of his vacation and ready to sign the fight. but i doubt that'll happen, manny seems like he is taking this fight serious, as he should, hopefully he destroys mosley in great fashion...good luck to mosley, hopefully he can do serious damage before he gasses...

if pac completely destroys mosley that would be big.

That has to be a typo or your mans running scared of Martinez Pac fans.
                  are u ******?
pacs pre training weight is low 150,
pacs official weight is usually in the low 140's
pacs nite time weight is mid to high 140's

                  in contrast,
martinez pre training weight is around 170
official weight in for a middleweight fight is 160
fight nite weight is about 170-175

so going into training, martinez is about 20 lbs heavier than pac,
and night of the fight, martinez can be as much as 20+ lbs heavier than pac...
in essense, what you are also saying is, whats stopping martinez from fighting a supermiddleweight or a light heavy weight?
