Can Rahman really make a $250k fighting someone else though? If he fights anyone in the top 10, he will lose. And I think not doing the Prizefighter thing or whatever it is called is a big mistake. For three rounds, Rahman can go all out. Now, he gets gassed in the middle rounds (earlier in his career it was the late rounds) and this would be his opportunity to get some quick wins. Maybe I am wrong but I hate to say it, Rahman is an opponent now for guys to make a name off of and I can't see him getting $250K to fight anyone else...

              Rahman chickened out.

He didn't want to face the taller fighter.

But he's running out of opportunities, he hasn't had a decent win for 5 or 6 years now. He should have gone over for the good payday.

So you find his excuses unreasonable?

Yes. I think he was afraid of losing, and I'm certain in the future he will not fight Fury or any other strong young HW like Helenius or Glazkov.

Hasim expects to get another title shot, even though he hasn't defeated a top 50 HW in many years.
