well you shouldn't generalize if you're only specifically talking about the so called african americans that post in ped/ost hreads.
its highly insulting to black fight fans such as myself who has shelled out thousands of dollars over the years to see fighters of all races box (tito, bhop, floyd, morales, barrera, jmm, pacman, dlh, etc...).Comment

paul williams could of been great, after the close win vs margarito, but that's if quintana would have not exposed him.. cause look at williams/quintana 1.. it was the blueprint to someone with more power to lay him out the way he was laid out.. and what better way to lose your fanbase than getting KO'd.. His best win is margarito, cintron took a dive, martinez was jobbed.. and quintana 2 was far from unexpected.. winky was old..Comment

lol stfu moron...how did that run to your head based on what i posted? did i mention about floyd's domestic violence? i was talking about floyd the boxer not the baby mama slapping floyd or the guard face poking floyd.Comment

well you can exempt yourself if you want. why do you dislike floyd if i may ask?well you shouldn't generalize if you're only specifically talking about the so called african americans that post in ped/ost hreads.

So true, we're never gonna get anywhere in this country until people start looking at themselves first as americans and second as a member of a particular race. It's really sad, we live in the greatest country in the world and we can't all get together and just get passed all this racial bull****. If people only knew how lucky they are to live in such a country maybe it would change. I've travel the world pretty well and I can say without a shadow of a doubt, u really don't understand how lucky u are until u see how ****ed up the rest of the world is.Comment

A permanent statement on race and support in boxing that will be forever permanently etched in my mind was when I went to Las Vegas for the Mayweather-Hatton fight... The weigh in specifically struck me as an indictment like none other as it relates to African American support of PBF. Ricky Hatton, of Manchester England has the support of an entire nation that flew over an entire ocean to PACK the MGM Grand to the point they had to close off the weigh in an hour early because they had reached capacity... Floyd's support that day, in the city in which HE RESIDES, was a class of about 2 dozen 10 year olds who's teacher brought them to the weigh in to support him for charitable work he had done at the school. It was an embarassing indictment on how little support Floyd and African American fighters garner, even as the pound for pound best fighter in the world - I will never forget that day

im tired of ppl with this picture perfect ideal world ish. where are u idiots when the mexicans and the puerto ricans are arguing over the greatness of their fighters?? nowhere to be found. whenever someone mentions the proverbial "black fighter", then its u shouldnt care about race, blah blah blah. well guess what, in america race still matters. only a fool would be ignorant to say otherwise. So true, we're never gonna get anywhere in this country until people start looking at themselves first as americans and second as a member of a particular race. You didnt hear it because they had more support.
That my friend is a huge stretch. There's been SRL, Holyfield, Hearns, Hagler and some others who weren't "thugs" or "gangsta" and did great things in their communities. Joe Louis was loved because he was considered safe by white America and what happened when he couldnt fill a stadium anymore? Throw dirt on this ******.
I dont believe thats true simply because a lot of black people I know personally are on the Pacquiao bandwagon.
I love to hear white people talking about "race isnt an issue" and the strange thing is it isnt for YOU. If you pay close attention to the world you live in and try to wear those shoes a minute then your views will change. I cant defend all black people either because over the years we as a whole stopped trying to equal out the playing field and instead just wanted to fit in and get our little piece. As far as boxing goes race will always be a part. I like Peterson pray for a day black people support their own in the sport again. Every other race goes all out even defending their "so,so" fighters. Stop idlizing these rappers who arent even real. Boxing is the best reality TV.Comment
