Paper titles don't count. Anyone can just snatch up paper titles or vacancies(cotto). What matters is, did you take the title from a legit opponent. That is what matters.

What sad is, Juanma has potential and talent. He just wastes it by fighting tomato cans and bums. He will never get any 'real' experience by doing that. Then when he fights a legit opponent, he will be steam rolled. He better learn from his countryman Cotto and not make the same mistakes.

At the higher weights, his chin will be his downfall. Can you even see him being remotely competitive with Brandon Rios at 135 lbs? Rios has a good chin and will walk right through his punches and knock him out. Rios might be at 140 lbs by the time he moves up but then there is still Chris John, who has way better all around skills. But if he never fights Gamboa at 130 lbs (looks like they won't be even talking about fighting each other at 126), then it won't really matter. A fight with Gamboa is a fight I don't think he can win so if he moves up without fighting him, it will be a huge waste...
