His career was handle poorly by Uncle Bob first and has been downward ever since..How long did it take him to even get a shot at a top ten opponent??Then when he does it's against the season Bradley(most likely because no one else would fight him)that just is not right..

Lamont has money on his mind with the Khan fallout, and his brothers poor outing against Bam Bam , this is not a good mental state for a fighter to enter the ring with and it's showing now.

You hear a lot of fighters say this same thing but when it comes down to it, really - what are they gonna go do if they're not boxing? Most don't have the skills to move on and do other things, and they certainly aren't going to get the kind of money most of them have been accustomed to making - even if it sounds like a pittance compared to what fighters like FMJ and Pac make. That's why so many come back (like El Terrible, Roy Jones etc) because they can't find anything else out there that meets that kind of rush and excitement and get paid for doing it (and basically be their own boss').

It sounds like a great confidence builder for yourself Lamont, but honestly at this age, and boxing being all that you've known (aka rags to riches story because of boxing) - what else can you go do and make the same money doing it? Be realistic.

            Khan is definitely more delusional.

I cant get the reason Peterson is getting hate. The boy has put on some good shows. He was a hot prospect and has heart, skills and stays pretty low key. If he's had enough of the sport after Cayo , so ***in what. The attributes he has are what fans always cry they want in a fighter. Now look at the responses. "He's average", "He's a mental midget", He's chumping out. If you ask me he knows whats best for him because he damn sure cant please the boxing geniuses of Boxingscene.
