Why is it that Cotto and Margarito get called warriors?

Course I know, but asking why isn't Mayweather.

It's not like both Cotto and Margarito started off at 130, and are pretty much taking on fighters there own size, so can dish out as much as they take.

LOL, are you serious? He's been down or seriously buzzed in several of his big fights and fought back to win. Against Clottey he had a canyon-sized gash flowing blood into his eye for much of the fight, and came back to win (arguably).

Floyd doesn't get called a warrior because he's never showed that type of mentality in the ring. Granted he's never had to (which is why he's great in his own right), but he's never really had to face adversity in the ring and go toe to toe, nor has he recently been one take on all challenges (when he was younger he did).

        Just end this thread now.

        ******. Very ****** thread.

It has everything to do with being a warrior.

From 130 - 140 Floyd was more than capable to battle it out, and dish out as much as he was given. It's also when the majority state he was throwing combinations, and the more exciting fighter.

However, beyond that has become more defensive which I can understand, due to the fact it's more difficult to take a punch. Now I'm asking, how come Margarito and Cotto, are called warriors for taking on opponents equal in size? Yet, Floyd is not, when he's taking on opponents bigger than him. Isn't it slightly biased.

... I'm still waiting for the day Cotto wins a belt at middleweight, and Margarito wins a belt at super middleweight.

              SMH.
Both are willing to take shots to land, Floyd........not so much.

Floyd made Marquez jump up 2 weight classes and floyd didn't even make weight.

Floyd made Hatton jump up a weight class when he was the lineal champ at 140.

Floyd doesn't like to trade. He fights scared in every fight. He pot shots, clinches and gets on his bicycle every fight. He is the complete opposite of a warrior, hes a ****ing pu$$y

Of course, because they are up against opponents equalling them in size.

I'm yet to see them move up in weight, fight bigger opponents and be willing to take shots to land.
