probably the WBC is behind this. Rubio automatically gets a crack at the Chavez-Zbik fight, and WBC probably thinks Rubio is too much of a risk for Chavez, so they'll feed him to the "super duper WBC" champion in Martinez.

Rubio gets ****d by Martinez, Lemiuex is still much of a threat to Martinez than Rubio style wise. I also agree that MArtinez dont want non of Pirog!!!!

you really think martinez don't want any of pirog especially after pirog's lastest fight which wasn't that impressive..i think rubio is better than lemieux and he proved that,lemieux would be missing all night with his wild punches,martinez would make him look silly,i don't think sergio is afraid of pirog especially after his last performance which wasn't that great,i think martinez will beat rubio but rubio will put up a better fight than lemieux thats for sure,martinez to me isn't afraid of anybody around 154-160 which i think is where he should stick to,anything higher is too much for him,he's only like 5"10 and isn't big,the others have bodies like light heavyweights and are all like 6'2...he should just stay at 154-160

Interesting fight martinez sparks him out but at least we have a chance to see martinez fight now instead of waiting till september plus rubio earned the shot though

Im not saying Martinez is scare, he just doesnt want to fight Pirog. I doesnt matter what Pirog did in his last fight or against Jacobs is just that his style is all wrong for MArtinez and Martinez knows it. Pirong have the power, speed and reflexes to make sergio look bad and possibly beat him.

There some styles that are just playing wrong to other styles.
