If Khan said he was moving to ITV fair enough he would get good coverage there but moving to Primetime is an awfull idea.

Primetime is a MUCH smaller PPV service that barely anyone is aware of. They don't have the benefit of cross promotion to other sports fans (for example Sky has it's own Sports News channel that is extremely popular with fans of most sports, especially soccer which is by far the biggest sport here, plus they can advertise with onscreen banners and regular adverts on their 4+ 24/7 sports channels) and as such rely on the more keen boxing fan who seeks out a matchup - as you can imagine their sales are an absolute fraction of Sky's too.
Anyway - shame Khan's not on Sky Sports as now I'll have to watch a less clear stream. There's no way Khan-Bradley goes the same way as this... Sky will definitely be interested as it's an easy sell. Khan will bend over backwards to stay with Sky in the long term as it's worth so much more to him being on Box Office than anywhere else - we're taking factors of 10/20. Still if he does go then I hope Sky pick up Carl Froch instead... he deserves it so much more. The only reason he's not popular over here is because Sky never took to him.

Oh and trust me, the collapse of the Khan-Sky relationship is the beginning of the end of world class boxing events on Sky Sports.
Sky has been propping up the sport in this country for years, and makes little to no money doing so.
This could be the final nail in the coffin for British boxing and it may not ever recover.

right now?will khan ever be big like hatton?
What Hatton did was to build up a steady fan base by fighting on channels like Sky Sports 3, it was not late into his career that he became a PPV fighter.
As for Khan reaching the popularity of the Hatton, that will never happen, well i cant see it.

I dont see why sky would turn down Khan Bradley, sounds like a load of bollocks - or a bluff to get Khan to agree to fight on SS3. They'd show it, they've been talking about it for months

Khan has already stated that he wants to fight Bradley and he has the tools needed to beat him. This spat with Sky Sports won't change anything as Khan is more closely affiliated with HBO and they ultimately call the shots regarding who Khan does and doesn't fight. Khan's next fight will be Bradley in July, and when he beats him, you will be wishing he would have ducked.
