PPL need to stop referencing that all of the time like it happened last week, it was two years ago, he was only a 22 yr old kid who had never had a tough pro fight yet and he panicked.

Ortiz doesn't have it in him to be half the warrior Morales is. I'm not rooting against him because I'm less a fan of Berto but seriously, screw Ortiz.

I was of the same mind for awhile, but I'm starting to lose faith. Since that fight, he has fought in a much more tentative fashion and doesn't seem to be improving. It could be that he was ruined in that fight.

He just has not seemed to regain that level of confidence and regardless of his skills and physical gifts, he'll not realize his potential if he doesn't believe deep down in his nutsack that he can.

If Lemiux doesn't rebound it'll be for the same reason, imo.

This is simple. Morales is a warrior and Ortiz isn't or was. Morales stuck in there like the legend he is when he was hurt while Ortiz quit.

But people forget that Ortiz had Maidana down 3 times before he got hurt in what was a great fight before he quit. I have a feeling that Ortiz is going to beat Berto.

I don't think he has done too bad since coming back, he would beat Maidana with a safety first approach in a rematch, even though he got a "draw" against Peterson it was a decent win for him against a top 10 fighter in the division.

If he doesn't have the confidence he will fold up against Berto but he certainly has the tools and skills to beat him.

We know you had Erik winning.

Many others did too, I did.

I seriously think people make the fundamental mistake in comparing fights, there is just too many variables in play in each fight to honestly compare them.

To me its chalk and cheese imo, it just doesn't make sense
