You guys dont know the difference from flash knockdowns (JMM-Pac) and knock downs where guys are REALLY hurt.

Kirkland was seriously hurt from the first KD. After the 3rd KD he was basically out. If he would have gotten up and got hit with a huge shot as a defenseless fighter, people would have killed Cortez for it.

I think Cortez is a good ref and gets a real bad rap.
I feel the same way about Cortez. He's consistent. He doesnt allow holding and hitting which is correct by rule. The Soto fight was a terrible decision but no ref is 100% correct. I guess the problem with Cortez is that he didnt like Sweet Pea rubbing him on the head and I dont blame him.

        1) People its not a "Flash" kd when it happens 3 times in less than 1 min
        2) Kirkland must be dumbest effin moron out there-how can u say the guy had no power after he ko'd you, i actually agree with him but you dont say that to confirm the su****ions that you have a worse chin than Khan and me..
        3) I bet a su****ious black american from Texas (im not pointing fingers at a fix, but i am) just made himself thousands if not millions of dollars by betting on ishida first round ko... Kirkland figured i can rebound might as well cash in on the 30-1 odds or whatever the heck it would be-not a bad idea considering he was probably fighting for $15K

I guess the saying "even a broken clock is right twice a day" is true after all.
