It's definitely strange though. Was Morales that good or are Ortiz, Kotelnik, and Khan that overrated? Because Maidana beat one, arguably beat another, and nearly knocked out the third.

Khan is a great example I brought up because you are basically taking credit away from Morales by discrediting Maidana as some tomato can. I just don't think that's the case and people love to make statement like you did bouncing from one extreme to another.

Guys like Pac and Floyd are the ELITE of the ELITE, so losing to them isn't a shame or surprising. It doesn't take away from you is my point.

Morales is done, he is half the fighter he once was, so that's why this fight was so impressive to watch. Yes, Maidana is not great, but we knew that coming in.

What Maidana is, is a B+ fighter who can hit like a truck and has a great chin. He is a tough fight for anyone because of his style, his power and his ability to take the shots he does. Is he Floyd Jr? No but that doesn't make him trash.

I think considering all the circumstances, it's safe to say Morales put in a great performance and I'm not going to say anything to discredit what he did on Saturday night.

I understand what your trying to say but the truth is boxing has become watered down. Our expectations have been brought down so low that you actually consider maidana to be a decent fighter. Sorry but hes not. He has a strong will and a good chin. thats all. i consider gatti to be a b fighter and he had more skill than maidana. Maidana is like a B- or C+ fighter. Hes slow, he punches wide, no defense and no technic. The only reason morales survived that fight is because of maidanas limitation. For example i think bradley would of ran right through morales. He looked ready for the taking.

Maidana has his gifts but his boxing IQ is borderline ******ed IMO. I said before the fight that if Morales could get past the early rounds, he'd embarrass this guy. Morales, even this washed up version (and yes, he looked washed up too), has more skill in his left pinky than Ortiz, Kotelnik and Khan combined. No surprised he had the guile to make it competitive and last the distance. Ole Maidana looked so confused out there at times

why would he think Erik Morales is on peds when he has gained fat as he moved up unlike Pac who keeps going up in weight and has very little fat anybody would find that odd of course unless you are a **** loveing ******* you wont find that odd
