the result shocked me only because i felt morales should have got a draw or nicked the win. i called this for morales weeks ago on this forum while most followed the pundits in saying maidana would rip him up.
morales fought exactly the right fight - just a pity he got caught early and lost his sight in one eye. with 2 eyes he would have won the fightComment

I really dont get why people were that surprised by Morales' performance. Maidana is crude as hell and Morales had tons of experience in using boxing ability combined in the middle of a war. thats why he specifically took this fight. Maidana was a perfect style matchup for him.Comment
