If you were born in America and your parents were citizens when you were born then you are straight out American. If you and your family came to America then you are X-American, that's just the way that it is.

I have no idea how the African American term even started up, but to me it's just the same as the above paragraph..........Rockin'

African American is more used widely as term for political correctness, most "African Americans", have not even been or lived in Africa or nor have their parents.

There are some extremely knowledgable and rational people on this site, unfortunately they are heavily out numbered by trolls and people who spout opinions just because they can yet have little knowledge of the sport.
