Maidana is slow and doesn't have great stamina.. that's why he couldn't finish Khan and looked poor vs Morales..

Morales defense was very good last night as Maidana was so slow and just pretty much a basic slugger. Pacquiao is far faster and imo hits harder then Maidana you saw what Maidana did to the dudes eye now imagine Pac..

We know the Erik that Paquiao fought in 2006 was drained legless, coming off a long, hard run and coming out of the back end of his prime and done as a top-level campaigner.

This Erik, while years removed from the back end of his prime and still done as a top-level campaigner (don't let one fight mislead anyone into thinking he can still do this on a regular basis and thrive), was weighing in comfortably and coming off a gradual reintroduction to prizefighting after a couple years rest from the ring.

While it's still a surprise that Morales could do so well with Maidana, his prep and performance weren't hindered by weight issues and his pure craft was allowed to take over in there. Very different to those Pacquiao fights in that respect (and Pacquiao is a much superior fighter to Maidana, anyway).

Dont matter how he looked, he could still fight damn well. He is mexican and they dont give up, but Pac made him give up.

Have you ever thought that Pacquiao was also draining himself then, just to make weight? Ever wondered why he went up to lightweight then to welterweight?
