Awesome display from Erik at this stage of his career - especially as he had to fight 11 rounds with one eye almost completely closed.

When he landed that left hook in round 8 he almost ****ing dropped Maidana!

Being Mexican im not always proud of guys like Margarito, Arreola, and all these guys who have balls and not much else. Morales showed pride and discipline. Maidana has every possible physical advantage and Morales almost pulled it out well past his best with one eye despite facing a guy who hits like a mules foot and consistently was hitting on the break using his head and anything else he could do to get an advantage. Morales ATG without a doubt.
