116-112 is fine with me, in too many round he had EM against the ropes just bullying him. I can see variations in scoring because Erik was landing clean shots but I though too few of them in key rounds.

Whatever, all I wanted was to see my favorite boxer in one more good fight, and this exceeded my expectations... Imagine if his eye wouldent close.... Maidana fought really dirty in this fight. MEXICOS MOST EXITING FIGHTER.... ERIK "EL TERRIBLE" MORALES!!!!

**** that ***** Adalaide Bird and that mutha****er Jerry Roth. Erik Morales did enough to win this fight. He lost the last two rounds but was the more effective puncher throughout the fight. Plus most of Maidana's **** was sloppy and he was missing alot. Erik beat that mutha****er with one eye.

Hopefully Morales gets a shot at Marquez. I like Marquez but Morales is one of my favorites. Morales taxes that ass.

No. Morales did not lose and won the most important thing which is the heart and admiration from the boxing fans. At one point he almost KOed Maidana. Sooo close. I think some of the judging for this fight as well as the referee for the Katsidis-Guerrero fight did a VERY poor job. Looks like someone got paid off to protect the fighters.

I just seen the fight again on Televisa. They interviewed Erik after the fight and he said fighting with one eye affected him. He also said the ref should of done a better job since Maidana was throwing a lot of rabbit punches during the break and was just fighting dirty, in general. They asked him about a rematch and he said sure. Then they talked to Oscar and he was all drunk. Oscar thought Morales won, too.
